An electric golf cart shipping quote is only useful when it identifies the vehicle configuration, packing method, trade term and destination. Those four details affect the number of units in a shipment, the work required at arrival and which party is responsible for each stage of transport.
Choose the supply route before pricing freight
Waygo orders can move factory-direct from China or, when the requested model, configuration and availability allow, through our California dealer channel. Factory-direct supply is usually used for larger batches and custom production. Dealer supply can reduce the international shipping work for suitable local orders. The selected route appears in the quotation.
An ocean quotation is based on the model mix, destination port or warehouse, requested Incoterm and unloading capability. Dimensions and weight come from the selected model. As one reference, our documented 4-seat configuration measures 3015 x 1330 x 1960 mm and has a net weight of no more than 620 kg before shipment-specific packing is added.
- Vehicle breakdown: quantity of 2-seat, 4-seat, and 6-seat carts in the shipment.
- Packing preference: assembled, partially disassembled or another model-specific export format.
- Destination: named US port, California dealer location or final warehouse address.
- Receiving plan: dock, forklift, unloading crew and assembly capability.
- Timing: required arrival date and acceptable dispatch window.

Compare assembled and partially disassembled packing
Painted body panels, windshields, roofs, displays and loose accessories require protection from handling and movement in transit. Waygo can provide the packing method, packed dimensions, gross weight and proposed container quantity for the selected model. Container planning uses packed data rather than the vehicle's uncrated size.

Name the Incoterm and document set
FOB, CIF and other Incoterms divide cost, risk and transport responsibilities differently. Waygo quotations name the rule, named place or port and Incoterms edition. The importer's freight forwarder or customs broker can then review the route against its customs and inland delivery plan.
The Waygo sales contract or proforma invoice matches the agreed specification, price basis and shipment responsibility. Warranty terms appear separately in the commercial documents. Our commercial and warranty terms set out the current framework.
- Commercial invoice with the agreed products, values and buyer details.
- Packing list with package count, net and gross weights, dimensions and vehicle identifiers where applicable.
- Bill of lading or sea waybill prepared to the importer's instructions.
- Battery test summary, classification and dangerous-goods documents required by the selected carrier and route.
- Any certificate of origin, customs or product documents required for the specific entry.
Inspect the shipment before signing off
Receiving inspection starts with the container or truck seal. The load should be photographed before unloading, then packages, vehicles and accessories can be checked against the packing list. Visible transit damage needs to be recorded while the carrier is present and handled under the carrier's notice procedure.
After unloading, the receiving record covers body panels, roof supports, glass, tires, charger, battery connections and loose accessory cartons. For a Waygo shipment, the shipping photos, delivery receipt and serial-number record can be submitted through the contact page for review.
- Verify container seal number against the ocean Bill of Lading before opening doors.
- Take wide-angle photographs of crate bracing and strapping inside the container.
- Inspect exterior steel crating for signs of compression or forklift damage.
- Verify battery state of charge and check all accessories against the packing list.
- Archive the inspection record with photos in your permanent project file.
