Resort & Commercial Golf Cart Fleets: 4-Seat vs. 6-Seat Passenger Sizing & Gradeability
Waygo sizes resort, hotel and commercial fleets from peak-hour route demand. Room count or annual visitor volume alone does not show how many vehicles are required. Route time, passenger load, charging cover and service reserve produce a more useful fleet plan.
Map the routes before counting vehicles
Guest arrival, villa transfer, housekeeping and maintenance may happen at the same time, but each route has a different vehicle requirement. Waygo records the round-trip time, peak passengers, luggage or cargo, grade, surface and narrow turns for each operating group.
Our first fleet estimate uses peak passenger trips per hour, practical passenger capacity and the time required to complete each loop. Charging, cleaning and service cover are added separately. The commercial fleet applications page shows how these vehicle roles differ across common sites.
- Route length and round-trip time, including loading and unloading.
- Peak passengers per hour, not only average daily demand.
- Luggage, tools or supplies carried with the passengers.
- Path width, turning space, surface and maximum grade.
- Operating hours, charging windows and the number of spare vehicles required.

Choose a mixed fleet when the jobs differ
A mixed fleet can use 2-seat carts for individual staff or utility work, 4-seat carts for regular guest movement and 6-seat carts for planned group service. Waygo can adjust the battery, tire and accessory package for the duty cycle of each group.
Our documented 4-seat configuration has a 4.0 m minimum turning radius and 30 percent stated climbing capacity. These figures provide a reference for route planning. Waygo supplies the selected model sheet for the final 2-seat, 4-seat or 6-seat configuration.

Plan charging around the shift
The charging plan records when each cart returns, the available connection time and the vehicle that covers its route during charging. Site electrical capacity, outlet type, cable routing and local requirements need review by a qualified electrician before several chargers operate together.
Our current 4-seat reference configuration pairs a 48V 25A onboard charger with a 51.2V 150Ah LiFePO4 battery. The stated charge time is under 8 hours at 80 percent discharge. A larger battery can extend range and may also change charge time and electrical demand. Waygo states the final battery and charger pairing for every model group.
Turn the route map into an RFQ
Waygo fleet quotations group vehicles by operating role, quantity, seating layout, duty cycle, battery, accessories and required arrival date. Repeated configurations share the same option code and service parts wherever the application allows.
Waygo can quote factory-direct supply from China or, where model, configuration and availability permit, supply through our California dealer channel. Factory customization usually favors the China route. A shorter local requirement may suit available dealer inventory. The wholesale program covers both ordering paths.
