How to Choose the Right Golf Cart Seating Capacity

Seat count is a useful starting point, but it is only one part of selecting an electric golf cart. The right choice depends on how many people move at once, how frequently the route is used and what each journey needs to carry.
Start With Passenger Flow
Look at the number of passengers moving at the same time, rather than the total number of people on site. A two-seat cart can suit individual staff travel and short service routes. A four-seat model is often a practical choice for regular guest or team movement. Six-seat models give larger groups a single vehicle for planned internal routes.
Consider the Route and Operating Environment
Golf courses, resorts, campuses, communities and visitor attractions have different route lengths, terrain, passenger expectations and daily use patterns. A compact configuration may be appropriate for frequent short trips, while a higher-capacity layout may help reduce the number of journeys on a scheduled route.
Also account for what travels with the passengers. Golf bags, maintenance equipment, luggage or site supplies can affect the configuration discussion even when the passenger count is unchanged.
